simple in oberoi street, bali

Oberi Street

It’s freezing here in Geelong and I thought I’d try and warm myself up by looking at more of my Bali images.

These photos were taking on a really popular strip in Bali called Oberoi Street. It’s known for its great shopping as well as great places to eat. We stayed in this street too, so makes getting around very easy.

This particular night we were on our way out to dinner (I’m going to do a post of my fav spots to eat in the next week or so!) Andrew and I stopped along the way to take a few snaps and enjoy the hustle and bustle of the busy street.

I took my trusty bright pink clutch from My.Boutique which really does make everything pop; and dressed it with a very monochrome look. Keeping things simple and cool is the key in Bali!

Have you been to Oberoi Street, Bali? What were your favourite places to shop and eat?

exploring bali

Bali is an incredible place with so much beauty and unique qualities. Andrew surfs so it gives me a chance to go and explore places you wouldn’t normally see (If you didn’t need to find the best wave!)

I went out with Andrew and we found some incredible places to take photos. I love the way these photos have turned out and show off different areas of such an incredible place.

simple winter days

Country road jumper

A simple chic outfit is all you need on a wintery long weekend!

I went shopping in my wardrobe and rediscovered my mega high boots making a simple jumper and pants into a much more chic look.

I am in total love with my neon pink clutch, and so it seems everyone else! I keep getting the most wonderful comments from everyone! The thing I like even more about it; a fellow Geelong designer is the mastermind behind these! I highly recommend checking out My Boutique!

What is your favourite winter look?

high tea at the langham

The Langham

On Sunday I headed to The Langham to indulge in their Chocolate Bar Afternoon Tea, also known as high tea!  It was a birthday present to my mother-in-law and my mum’s mothers day present. My two sister-in-laws came along too. A wonderful ladies afternoon.

Here are a few pics of the scrumptious food!

I was really happy with the outfit I choose to wear. Especially as the leather skirt was not to tight once I’d over indulged! 😉

I am still obsessed with this pink coat and so happy that I have now found a midi skirt that doesn’t look full length on me!

i’m a shopaholic…

Hi my name is Kirsty and I’m a shopaholic. “Hi Kirsty!”

I have come to the realisation that I like to shop; A LOT and I seem to be purchasing a little too much at times.

I try and budget and only buy the things I really need, but when places like Country Road start stocking things I want need; I tend to spend money and purchase some great pieces!

That being said this top is my latest and was brought as a must have top for work and was the perfect top to go watch Geelong play, when in a corporate box over the weekend!

I admit I dont have a serious problem. I can show some self control but somehow I always convince myself its a must have.

Are you a shopaholic?

heels or flats

GeelongTony Bianco

I wore this outfit last weekend, to do a few bits and pieces; a coffee date, shopping and staying cool!
I felt like playing around with the look when I got Andrew to take a few snaps, and couldn’t decide on which shoes worked better.
The hair had gone curly from the beach, but I love the feeling of salty hair and enjoying sunshine! I really am a summer baby!

Heels or flats? What is your preference?

a simple yet chic tee

Elm Knitwear Tee

When you don’t know what the day is going to bring you need to wear something that will do for any occasion.  I love throwing on a tee with a pretty skirt so I’m ready to handle whatever I need to when plans are up in the air.

That’s how this day went when I decided to put on my new Elm Knitwear tee. It is so comfortable and turns a simple outfit into chic. With the right skirt and accessories I was ready to tackle the day.

It turned out to be a great decision, as we went to a 1st birthday party, tried out a new restaurant, Zigfrids and then onto the movies to finally see ‘Wolf of Wall Street’.

Elm Knitwear is such a fun brand and their clothing is made from the best quality of fabrics. This t-shirt is no exception; silk on the front and cotton at the back. Perfect for a 30 degree day!

What is your simple go to outfit to tackle the day?

summer lovin’

I love summer… even in the crazy heat I still love it.

There is just something about it, and possibly why I live by the beach!

Monday was no exception. It was 38 degrees and this was a simple cool outfit that I decided to wear.

What do you think of the summer weather?

Sunday was such a beautiufl day! A perfect  day to celebrate all the dad’s for Father’s day!

I pulled out the yellow jeans and thought I’d go casual with a black tee. Loving these shoes I found as well. They were inexpensive and looked great; love a bargin!

We spent lunch by the beach so decided it was the perfect location for some photos.

Hope you are all having wonderful weeks!

february flashback

February has been a busy month! Not only with work (my first event  is now done!), but with life in general. It also means summer has ended. 🙁 I hope the good weather will still stick around for another couple of weeks though, and then I’ll welcome winter clothes!

We have had so much on over the weekends, and working away with the house. I’m surprised I didn’t take more outfit photos.

I still want to include shots of others on here too, but I guess once March is over I’ll put some more TLC into this blog.

Which outfit was your favourite in February?
