back to work in monochrome

Witchery Skirt

Last Thursday I started back at work. It was a great time to start as I only had to work for two days before the weekend and was one way to deal with the heat wave we were having. We had four days over 40 degrees with lows of around 28 at nights; hot!! But I love the heat so it wasn’t to bad for me!

I love simple outfits for work especially when you are just sitting at a desk all day and this is exactly what I was going for here. Heels would have looked even better but flats were a must in the heat.

silky black pants

Elm Knitwear

I have been in a black hole of no internet over the last week and it is sooo frustrating. Hence I’ve been a little quiet on here.

We are also renovating.. building a new kitchen which has also kept me extremely busy and outfits have not been blog-worthy!

These pants I have on are the most comfortable pants ever. They feel like pjs but still look classic and chic. They are silk and fit really well, coming in at the ankle and a sash at the waist. They are from Elm Knitwear and I’m so excited to show you more of their collection in the coming weeks.

What do you think?

Andrew and I attended a beautiful wedding located at The Barn, Wallington earlier this month.

I wanted to wear something bright and summery and this outfit was perfect for the day. I loved the purple and orange combination and I felt really comfortable in this outfit.

merry christmas

???????????????????????????????

Merry Christmas to everyone! I hope you all had the most wonderful day with family and friends or maybe travelling the world.

This was my Christmas Eve outfit I had on to do a few last minute tasks. I had so much fun doing this photo shoot. We went down to the river in Barwon Heads and found a great spot. These photos turned out better than planned and I’m really happy with them!

Merry Christmas everyone!

festive season

Geelong

I always find this week so busy! As mentioned it’s birthday week but it’s also almost Christmas so everything is on and happening.

We had Andrew’s Christmas party last week and I felt like been bright so went with this number. Like Vogue Vandal mentions on her blog I find the fit and flare skirt is super flattering for those girls with curves.

I love the bright pop of pink with the black and paired it with brown for my accessories.

blue top and jeans in the sunshine

Kirsty

Tuesday evening I went out for dinner to celebrate my birthday with my family. As always I was very spoilt and loved the family time!

I decided to go more casual for dinner as we went to a little Thai restaurant, Bai Thong Thai on Pakington Street. It was delicious and I highly recommend!! Everything is so fresh and made with lots of flavour.

I got Andrew to quickly take these just before we went in and I couldn’t decide if I wanted a jacket, hence one photo with the jacket over my shoulder.

Summer has finally arrived here in Geelong, in fact as I write this it’s 39 degrees outside!

Summer is finally here in Victoria; it’s taken its time!

It’s my birthday week this week and I’m very excited. I love birthdays and so very excited for all the celebrations!

I got these shorts the other week and I’m rapt with them as I think they’ll be great to wear on warm summer days to work for something fun and cool.

What do you think of my shorts?
