another winters day

Winter

What a weekend! Sometimes they just seem to be so busy as well as lots of fun!!

After a night out in Melbourne and a bit of a fuzzy head I got Andrew to get some snaps in the beautiful Carlton Gardens. Again a simple winters day outfit is what I’m most happy in on the weekends.

I love beanies to not only add some colour but also for the warmth! This one was a great find whilst in Tokyo last year.

Are you a beanie person? What are your favorites?

statement pieces

ASOS

Last week I was lucky enough to get an interview on the local radio all about Geelong Fashionista and current fashion trends.

I wore my bright colourful jacket and and we discussed in length what a great statement piece is in your wardrobe. As with this outfit it gives that extra pop and brings what could be a dull outfit to life.

I seem to be wearing these jeans a lot, or maybe its the fact every time I seem to get photos taken of late I have them on! Either way they are so comfortable and stylish I could live in them.

What statement pieces do you have that you love to wear?

happy easter

Bardot Jeans

Happy Easter everyone! I hope you have all had wonderful long weekends with friends and family and got to enjoy lots of choccie!

It’s one of those times of year where all you do is eat and drink; not exactly the tummy’s best friend.

My weekend was jam-packed and I got to spend with both our families as well as lots of friends. I then jetted off to Tassie for a couple of days to visit a good friend and enjoy some more time off until work gets crazy busy again.

This was one of my simple Easter outfits I wore over the weekend; my trusty ripped jeans and an elegant jumper.

How were your Easter weekends?

VAMFF Opening Night

VAMFF

Last Monday I was lucky enough to go to the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival (VAMFF). Andrew got me tickets for my birthday late last year, which was such a thoughtful gift!

I took along my bestie Nicole and not only did we get to see the opening runway by David Jones we also got to go into the VIP party and hear Kate Miller Heidke’s amazing voice. I even got to meet some fellow bloggers which really made my night.

I also found a pink jacket! I am in love with it and decided it was the perfect place to debut!

silk pants, grey top and some leopard

Zara top

I like to pride myself on dressing in colour, but from the last few posts I have done I’m starting to worry that all I am wearing is black, white and grey!

I actually don’t know if I like this outfit… It could be that I just don’t really wear pants, or maybe the two just didn’t work together.
The pants are the most comfortable ever and I really love the grey jumper but just not sure about the combo together. Maybe it needed a statement necklace to give it a pop.

I still thought I would post the images as I’d love to hear your feedback on the outfit.

sparkles at a wedding

Princess Polly

Last Saturday I went to Wedding of two of our friends. The weather was beautiful and I wanted to wear something quite fun!

I’ve had this sparkle dress in my wardrobe for sometime now but never really worn it anywhere and decided the wedding was the perfect occasion.

I loved the hair style my very talented hairdresser Rhiannon created. Something fun and different highlighting the ombre look I have. These shoes are also the most comfy pair and such a great investment!
