sparkles at a wedding

Princess Polly

Last Saturday I went to Wedding of two of our friends. The weather was beautiful and I wanted to wear something quite fun!

I’ve had this sparkle dress in my wardrobe for sometime now but never really worn it anywhere and decided the wedding was the perfect occasion.

I loved the hair style my very talented hairdresser Rhiannon created. Something fun and different highlighting the ombre look I have. These shoes are also the most comfy pair and such a great investment!

Sometimes you just need to go casual to work, and that’s how I felt today!

Comfy jeans, trusty peplum, a blazer and simple heels and I was set for the day!

I hope everyone is having a great week, it’s such a busy time of year and lots on again this weekend!

I am currently obsessed with this colourful jacket of mine. I would actually love to be not wearing jackets anymore but for now this is the perfect spring addition.

It is so warm and I am getting lots of comments already a great purchase I think! These jeans have also become a big staple and I don’t know how I lived without them, a great find from a great shop in Pakington Street.

I’m on holiday at the moment in sunny Queensland, visiting my grandparents for our annual early Christmas celebration. It really is like my second home up here.
It was at this time last year that I started this fashion blog, which has gone so fast and I thrilled at how much it’s growing! Who knows, one day I may be able to do this as my career!

Lots of exciting posts to come and hope you all had wonderful weekends!

It may look it, but no, my favourite colour is not magenta!

I happened to have a magenta umbrella and it all matched by accident. (and yes it was raining! 🙂 )

We stopped to get breakfast from a bakery, as we did I remembered a great laneway full of graffiti and asked Andrew to take some photos.

The weekend has been and gone and what a ripper it was! I headed to Melbourne Spring Fashion Week Friday and saw some amazing fashion. A post will be coming.
I caught up with friends which is always wonderful! And had a Body Shop at Home Party on Sunday which was great fun, who doesn’t love been pampered. Again a post will be coming as well as a giveaway!!!

I hope everyone enjoys their Monday and has a great week!

TGIF! I love getting to a Friday knowing the weekend is almost here! It is the last day of Autumn and I dont know how I feel about winter tomorrow…

Today I wanted to show off this beautiful Superficial Sadie Necklace and decided black and white (with a bit of silver) was the way to do it!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine was great, though daylight savings has ended which makes me sad as day turns to night so quick! I did however enjoy the extra hour of sleep!

This is an outfit I wore last week to work. My aim was to wear black and white, but now debating if I should have added more colourful heels, although I liked the leopard for something different.

The weather can’t make up its mind at the moment. It is a real mix of warm Autumn weather and quite cold Autumn weather. This is why my outfit may look quite layered; I had every season covered! 🙂 (This is a common trend in Geelong/Melbourne of weather changing rapidly)
The mornings are fresh and then usually sunshine appears later in the day. This is why I have the stirrup tights on with my skirt. It was too cold for bare legs on this particular day!

For my birthday back in December Andrew bought me tickets to the Red Bull Flying Bach. It was in Melbourne at the Arts Centre and I was blown away! It was amazing and I loved every bit. The dancing was sensational and left me wanting more.

I felt like dressing up for the occasion and finally wore my gold sparkle dress that had been in the wardrobe for way to long!

Although I didn’t take many photos I loved wearing my dress! What do you think?

After reading a couple of blogs over the last week, I decided I wanted to try to colour block a little, and really make some great colours pop.

This week is a busy one for me with an event coming up and next week too; but there is always time for an outfit post!

What could I have changed on this outfit or do you think it works?
