addicted to shopping

Senso flats

I am addicted to shopping; no surprise there!

I always try and find a good excuse to buy the incredible things I find on Instagram, Facebook or on fellow bloggers sites. I found these Senso sandals just the other day and knew I had to have them (just needed a good excuse to buy them)!

The weather was perfect Saturday and it made me think, “Yes Kirsty, you need a new pair of summer sandals!”  Next thing I know I’m driving into Geelong to Argentina (A shop on Pakington Street)  walk into the shop, try them on and before you can say snap they are in a bag on the way home with me! oops!

What do you think of my new beautiful shoes?

We took these photos just as a change had come in and boy did the wind pick up!

I was lucky to keep hold of my hat. You can see the wind really moving my top around!

This outfit was so comfy and I really like using grey and white as neutrals to get away from all the black that seems to be worn so often!

white heels

This is an outfit I wore to work last week. It was all about the shoes really; I wanted to wear the white heels and decided the brown dress and white blazer were the best option.

I’m involved in a giveaway at the moment with The Domestic Me.. Check it out here.  You can win a $200 Threads & Style voucher, a $200 Style Tread voucher and a $59.95 Nude by Nature kit! Good luck in winning!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. I have loved having a four day weekend; photos to come later in the week.

Today we’ve hit a hot 37 degrees in Geelong; what a way to welcome Monday!

I was inspired to wear something comfortable, bright and cool for the day and opted for this outfit. I wasn’t sure if it was post-worthy, however my friend Gemma convinced me that I should and I’m so glad I did.

We popped over to the park opposite work and got some fun shots; the artwork in the background was something different too! This is the storage container they use for the Geelong Night Markets and sits outside the park while the markets run over summer.

I hope everyone had a great weekend!  Andrew & I spent a lot of it in the beautiful sunshine and swimming at the beach with friends.

A big thank you to Gemma for taking the photos today!

tan & black

We’re already half way through the week! How did that happen?!

This is an outfit I wore last week to work. We have been having beautiful weather here in Geelong and it inspires me to wear fun colour, however on this particular day I decided on tan and black. I had a meeting so paired it with my black blazer. This skirt is so comfortable; I enjoy wearing it to sit at my computer working away.

At the moment I’m crazy busy at work. I’m an event manager, (and I love what I do!) but with three major events in four weeks, I get a little crazy. Once I hit the end of March I’ll be putting some more love into this blog. And I need to really cut my hair!

Hope you are all having a great week!!

This dress is an oldey but a goodie! I’ve had it now for quite some time, it’s one of those dresses that is so comfortable and really comes in handy at times.

Yesterday was one of those times, I had a BBQ and it was just what I felt like wearing. I paired it with a denim vest to give it a little something different.

I hope you all had wonderful weekends; I certainly did!

cream peplum and black jeans

Cream peplum top

On Saturday night I caught up with some friends for dinner. Knowing I had to work the next day, (very early) I decided to go a little more casual than normal and opted for my trusty black jeans. These Mavi jeans were a birthday present and I do love them, except for the fact they are a little long in the legs. I guess that’s what I get for being short!

This top I found in H&M Tokyo! Ange actually found it first and got herself a black one, I decided to copy her with a cream one! It’s so comfortable and was a bargain!

The necklace is another favourite birthday present I was given. Its from one of my favourite boutiques, Princess Polly.

Hope your week is going well, Friday is getting closer!

(Sorry about the photos, the light wasn’t great and my usual photographer was unavailable so got mum to give it a go!)

I dont often wear long pants (as you may have noticed). But last week I decided to wear them to the office. I was trying to work out an outfit to wear with a pair of shoes I found in my wardrobe.

This may seem strange, but I own A LOT of shoes! Sometimes I forget exactly what is in my shoe cupboard, especailly if they are ones I haven’t worn in a long time. I came across these babies. They are a Tony Bianco pair I brought quite a few years ago now.

What do you think?

the shoes… my manolo blahniks

The Shoes

Yesterday was my birthday (18/12), and I just love birthdays! I don’t know how it started but I have an obsession about my birthday and truly believe it’s the one day all about me! Birthdays are special and I like to make them a big deal. As a result I took the day off work to enjoy “MY” day and spend time with my friends and family.

I, as you may be aware, have a MASSIVE passion for shoes. I find them incredible and love them so much that my ultimate goal in my early twenties was to own a pair of Manolo Blahniks (and yes I adore Sex and the City) Long story short, last year I went to New York and finally fulfilled my dream of owning a pair. I spent nearly two hours in the store and after many a pair on my feet, these were the chosen ones. They were the ones saying “Buy me, Buy me!”

The point of the long post is that I decided, on a day all about me, I should wear my precious babies! “The” shoes got worn for their second time and here are some pics!

Friday night was my man’s Christmas Party. Partners get invited which is always lovely and even better knowing it’s at a winery! It’s also another great excuse to wear a dress and I thought I’d bring the festive element in the form of my red shoes!

Decjuba Red Shoes

We headed to Oakdene for dinner which is sooooo yummy! The food is delicious and presentation is brilliant. I’m actually kind of sad I didn’t take more food shots to show everyone.

Oakdene is a winery down on the Bellarine Peninsula and a quick 5 minute drive from my house which is always a good start. As is was the boyf’s night, I took on the driver role, as it was only fair.

The meal was delicious, service was brilliant and the wine spectacular! A very fun night.  I highly recommend to everyone to go there!
