purple and orange

Kirsty

Andrew and I attended a beautiful wedding located at The Barn, Wallington earlier this month.

I wanted to wear something bright and summery and this outfit was perfect for the day. I loved the purple and orange combination and I felt really comfortable in this outfit.

merry christmas

???????????????????????????????

Merry Christmas to everyone! I hope you all had the most wonderful day with family and friends or maybe travelling the world.

This was my Christmas Eve outfit I had on to do a few last minute tasks. I had so much fun doing this photo shoot. We went down to the river in Barwon Heads and found a great spot. These photos turned out better than planned and I’m really happy with them!

Merry Christmas everyone!

festive season

Geelong

I always find this week so busy! As mentioned it’s birthday week but it’s also almost Christmas so everything is on and happening.

We had Andrew’s Christmas party last week and I felt like been bright so went with this number. Like Vogue Vandal mentions on her blog I find the fit and flare skirt is super flattering for those girls with curves.

I love the bright pop of pink with the black and paired it with brown for my accessories.

What do you think?

blue top and jeans in the sunshine

Kirsty

Tuesday evening I went out for dinner to celebrate my birthday with my family. As always I was very spoilt and loved the family time!

I decided to go more casual for dinner as we went to a little Thai restaurant, Bai Thong Thai on Pakington Street. It was delicious and I highly recommend!! Everything is so fresh and made with lots of flavour.

I got Andrew to quickly take these just before we went in and I couldn’t decide if I wanted a jacket, hence one photo with the jacket over my shoulder.

Summer has finally arrived here in Geelong, in fact as I write this it’s 39 degrees outside!

Princess Polly peplum

Sometimes you just need to go casual to work, and that’s how I felt today!

Comfy jeans, trusty peplum, a blazer and simple heels and I was set for the day!

I hope everyone is having a great week, it’s such a busy time of year and lots on again this weekend!

february flashback

February has been a busy month! Not only with work (my first event  is now done!), but with life in general. It also means summer has ended. 🙁 I hope the good weather will still stick around for another couple of weeks though, and then I’ll welcome winter clothes!

We have had so much on over the weekends, and working away with the house. I’m surprised I didn’t take more outfit photos.

I still want to include shots of others on here too, but I guess once March is over I’ll put some more TLC into this blog.

Which outfit was your favourite in February?

Last night was my first major event of the year, The Gordon Awards for Excellence, and it was a fantastic evening!

Everything ran smoothly and everyone enjoyed themselves, so as the event manager I was extremely happy.

I like to look and feel great at these events, so I even went and got my hair done!

I borrowed my mum’s jacket which I love and paired it with a LBD. I wanted to pop, so paired it with my orange heels.
The photos aren’t ideal, but I got Gemma to take a quick few snaps as I ran around making sure everything was as it should be.
In the image below, you can’t really see me but the venue view is so beautiful I wanted to show the background,!

Fishtail Skirt

What a wonderful weekend it was in the sunshine and filled with a lot of fun.
I had so much on but was great to catch up with friends I hadn’t seen for a while.

This was my Sunday outfit for the day, as I wanted something that could suit a few different occasions.
I have had this skirt for such a long time now but have only worn it twice, as I’ve never been sure of the fishtail (Yes you ask; why did I buy a fishtail skirt then?!)

Do you think it worked?
