It may look it, but no, my favourite colour is not magenta!

I happened to have a magenta umbrella and it all matched by accident. (and yes it was raining! 🙂 )

We stopped to get breakfast from a bakery, as we did I remembered a great laneway full of graffiti and asked Andrew to take some photos.

The weekend has been and gone and what a ripper it was! I headed to Melbourne Spring Fashion Week Friday and saw some amazing fashion. A post will be coming.
I caught up with friends which is always wonderful! And had a Body Shop at Home Party on Sunday which was great fun, who doesn’t love been pampered. Again a post will be coming as well as a giveaway!!!

I hope everyone enjoys their Monday and has a great week!

 Zu Shoes

This is what I wore for casual Friday, after reading Rachel’s Lookbook the other day about jeans on to work, I decided jeans were fine to wear to work! I had to pair the look with my black hat as I’m in love with it at the moment, and I finally get to wear it in this weather!

I wanted to put fun socks in the gaps of my boots for something different. I think the sparkles worked with the sparkles in my jumper.

As much as I love the colour of these jeans they aren’t the best quality. They stretch really quickly and look baggy, and you can really tell in these photos. Don’t you hate when a pair of jeans stretch way to much as soon as you put them on?

Last week we were lucky enough to enjoy the last bit of sunshine before we have officially hitting the cold weather. I took every chance to wear skirts with bare legs and made sure I enjoyed the sunshine.

I was lucky enough to have a day off work and got to catch up with my very talented friend who took these amazing photographs for me! She is extremely clever and a beautiful photographer, so thank you very much for taking these Katie Wheeler. I couldn’t be happier with the way they turned out!

We are having the most amazing start to March weather-wise. It’s going to be over 30 for 9 days straight! What a brilliant way to welcome Autumn!

We went via the beach this morning on the way to work, and I decided it was a great chance to grab some photos. Not only of me but the beautiful place we live in, Ocean Grove!

For those Australians out there too, Geelong has been named more livable than Melbourne, according to the news last night! Just proof why I love it! (Knowing Melbourne is only 60 minutes up the highway!)

I’ve added some more shoes to the shoe page too, so make sure you check them out! I’m slowly unpacking all of them now as we have our wardrobes finished! It’s amazing how quickly you forget some of the shoes you own (for me anyway!). What I do love about them is that every shoe I own has a story and how they came to be apart of my collection!

Mint small heeled Tony Bianco ‘Pazz’ Shoes – I had been eyeing off for ages, then all of a sudden they went on sale and I decided that was a sign! It was around my birthday last year so figured they were a birthday present to myself.

Enjoying the snow

Ange and I enjoying the snow at Nozawa

I had to write at least one post about my time in Japan and it actually tied in nicely with one (ok maybe a few) of my new purchases. Back when I lived in Canada I discovered and fell in love with Forever 21. I had been told about it from Superficial Sadie’s creator but it wasn’t until I saw it that I found the appeal. I then introduced Ange to Forever 21 when she moved to Canada and also fell in love with this store.

Long story short, Tokyo had a Forever 21 and much to the horror of poor Andrew, Ange and I ran to the five floors. An hour later and several purchases down, he was able to pull us out of the store, remaining us we were here for snowboarding not shopping!

As I’ve mentioned before I want to grow this blog to include other people and not just myself, so I convinced Ange to have some photos with me while we were sightseeing at the Imperial Palace. It also includes some of our new purchases.

the shoes… my manolo blahniks

The Shoes

Yesterday was my birthday (18/12), and I just love birthdays! I don’t know how it started but I have an obsession about my birthday and truly believe it’s the one day all about me! Birthdays are special and I like to make them a big deal. As a result I took the day off work to enjoy “MY” day and spend time with my friends and family.

I, as you may be aware, have a MASSIVE passion for shoes. I find them incredible and love them so much that my ultimate goal in my early twenties was to own a pair of Manolo Blahniks (and yes I adore Sex and the City) Long story short, last year I went to New York and finally fulfilled my dream of owning a pair. I spent nearly two hours in the store and after many a pair on my feet, these were the chosen ones. They were the ones saying “Buy me, Buy me!”

The point of the long post is that I decided, on a day all about me, I should wear my precious babies! “The” shoes got worn for their second time and here are some pics!

Black Out

I can’t believe its December. Where has this year gone?! I do love December as it’s my birthday month and even more so this year as we are heading to Japan to go snowboarding over Christmas & New Year!!

I had my first Chrissy catch up yesterday, with three of the girls I’ve grown up with. As well as Black Out I felt like being colourful and put on my yellow skirt which I just love. It’s so flowy and I feel  little “boho” in it.
